Children’s Ministry
Children’s ministry is about opening the door to the meaning of a life guided by faith and formed within the Christian community. The pastors and staff of our children’s ministry are committed to providing your children with opportunities that are fun, child-oriented, and biblical.
Children in K3-5th grade meet upstairs in the Bullard Building for Children’s Sunday School. During this time, our kids learn about the Scripture preached on through Bible study, art, and games, then engage in mission and worship leadership projects.
Sunday Schedule:
9:00 am: Children’s Sunday school and Nursery (Bullard Building)
10:30 am: Nursery (Birth-3), Children’s Church (3K-1st grade), and Worship
5:00 pm: Children’s Choirs
More Information For Children
Children’s Church
For children ages 3-1st grade. Our young children stay in worship through the Children’s Message and then walk over to the Bullard Building with two volunteers to hear a story and engage in learning centers. Included in the Children’s Bulletins is a nametag. We ask that you fill out the information on these tags each week, so that volunteers can get in touch with you in case of an emergency. After the service, families can pick up their children in the Bullard Building.
Special Education Events
Throughout the year, we host special educational events, including “Bible 101 for Children and Families,” mission projects, and “Worship 101 for Children and Families.” We also have community-focused fellowship events, including Halloween’s Trunk-or-Treat, Open Play, and an Easter Egg Hunt. Nursery
Children aged 3 years and younger are welcome in our nursery on Sunday mornings. The nursery is in the Bullard Building (Rooms 101 & 102), with Sunday hours beginning at 9:00 am. Nursery hours conclude around 11:30 am (following worship). If you bring a toddler or infant to our nursery, please bring a diaper bag. Please be prepared to spend a few minutes signing in your child and provide us with information in case of an emergency.

Children in Worship
Research shows that children who worship with a congregation from an early age tend to develop a faith that endures as they grow older. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” Children in 2nd grade and older are encouraged to stay in worship throughout the service. We have worship bags for children to use in the back hallway in the Main Building. We hope that all children will come down to hear the children’s message, then return to their seats to help us worship God. If a child needs to leave the worship service for any reason, parents may take them to Fellowship Hall, where there is a live audio and video feed.
